An integrative holistic therapist and life health coach, I work from a humanistic-existential-spiritual perspective. Integrative mental health care makes use of all scientifically proven alternative methods in combination with conventional therapies to support healing and maintain optimal health. Interactions of mind and body are understood as central to the healing process and whole health. The focus is on powerful ways in which emotional, mental, social, and spiritual factors can directly affect one's health. Emphasis is given to the sacredness of the therapeutic relationship, the power of the 'healer within,' the healing capacity of a healthy mind, and the influence of lifestyle habits on mind-body health.
I apply a variety of approaches to whole person well-being strategies involving issues such as stress, pain, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life and health crisis support, life transitions, and whole life balance.
I have long been passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and interested in alternative and complementary healing practices. My training in psychology, counseling, life health coaching, and functional medicine enable me to share my passion and be of service to others. Specialties include: functional medicine, neurofeedback, yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, reiki III, and ecstatic dance.
